Very tight on the calves

I received my pink knee-high boots today, they deliver pretty fast but beware if you have thick calves/thighs. I'm usually a size US8 and decided to size up to a US9 thinking that it would be a perfect fit. The leather material is very tight, I could barely slide the boot up.
